The Eternal Wait

In the still and quiet,
I lay beneath the sheets
Thoughts of you still linger
As I fight to fall asleep

Forgetting you can't happen
I've tried that times before
Once I shut the window
You burst right through my door

Time and time you find me,
I'm broken and confused

You take over all my thoughts
