Summer Thoughts

As i sit there on the sand i begin to think about what i push aside in my mind. I pick up the sand and watch it run through my fingers wishing my worries would disappear just as easily. I stare out towards the water watching the sun set fade away slowly. I sit and let the breeze blow across my face and over the waves catching the sweet smell of summer air. If life were only as simple as the beauty of the beach.

wow. it's very deep! i too love the ocean and you did a great job using the beach as an escape. creative idea! :) i like this a lot. check out my piece "let it rain" to see how i get rid of my memories :)
