the day after
The Day after
Ring,
The alarm went off.
Click,
She hit the off button.
Up she is.
It’s the day after,
And she can’t move,
It’s cold,
And she’s crying,
It’s wrong what happened.
It’s over,
She blinked,
Gone,
Is her missing link.
She covered her head,
As the night mare begins,
Over and over again.
Now she’s a, disaster,
A mess.
She’s angry,
No rest.
Now’s the time,
To settle the score,
As her heart,
Bleeds and pours,
“Where are you now?”
