My hood aint where you see kids playing or jumping rope.
My hood aint where you often see kids dressing up for proems or graduation.
My hood aint where you see mommy and daddy walking their kids.
My hood we don’t wait till we married to have kids.
In my hood you we often see shooting, killing and people bleeding to death.
In my hood you see kids running from their life when they see an all black on black car.
In my hood we don’t see kids dressing up for prom instead we dressing up funerals.
In my hood we see young girls pregnant.
In my hood we see the mother being both parents.
Your hood you see everything that the world should be.
Well my hood aint like that.
It’s a shame when kids five year old running for their life because they hear or see shooting.
My hood when you see one black person run you all run.
