Room of Emptiness

Sitting in a silent room
surrounded by nothing but emptiness
two windows that represent the past
and the future
new memories and regrets
I look out the first and see my past
and there you appear
you are tearing apart my heart
as I sit covered in tears
I see me sad
I see you glad
and still you have nothing to say
I look out the second and see my future
and there you appear
you happily watch the stars
as I sit covered in scars
I see me barely holding on
I see you laugh and carry on
and still you don't say sorry
I stand and close both windows
and die in my room of emptiness

I wrote this of the memories of sitting in my room at my dad's, trapped. I was so alone, and was forced to think of my past, and terrified to think of my future.
