You say choose, you can’t have your cake and eat it too
And I say maybe it’s not,
as easy as you think so stop
The heart wants what it wants
And I want you, but I love him
And I need you, but I think this should end
It hurts to push you away, but it hurts to lie everyday
I think it’s better off this way
Stay your distance, hold your kisses
I can’t afford to lose myself anymore
I want you so bad, but I know it won’t last
So I’m keeping you at bay, secretly hoping you’ll stay
But you tell me, once you’re gone, you’re gone for good
My heart fights it but my mind knows you should
2 am calling, in my bed I’m bawling
Scared you’re wasting away
And there is nothing I can do at the end of the day
What we have may be toxic
Slip me more to get off it
There is no end to our beginning
The vicious circle continues spinning
