Denying our affection for one another,
to disprove the theory that,
Love is friendship on fire.
and if a man and woman are unofficial best friends
Their friendship will end in a relationship.

Pulled together by fate,
Your not suppose to refuse your soul mate,
But I did,
and He did.
Knowing that if it were meant to be
It would be.

There's no stopping destiny,
Even if you fight it,
You'll end up right back where you started.
Together as friends,
Setting the night aglow,
With our fiery flames.

Yet, fate hadn't pulled us together, and I began to wonder if we would ever have a flame.
Until fate faked right,went left.
And our friendship burst all the same, as fate intended. Into friends.
