I figured out that he was gone.
I could feel the old me coming out again,
But for that one moment
I could feel the ocean take my pain away.
Lost in a sea of emotions
I don’t know what to do or what to think.
I heard the sound of the waves cashing against the rocks
As I fell to the ground I was pulled under by the big title wave.
The five minutes I was under the water
My life and his flashed before my eyes.
Realizing killing my self would not make it any better
I came up.
A brand new person. Knowing that he is gone still hurts yes but knowing he is in a better place feeling no pain makes me feel a lot better.
I’m looking back remembering the days we laughed
The days we cried
And I’m thanking god for those days
I had you by my side. Your life was well lived
But you could have lived more. I can’t wait to see you at
Heavens door.
