Do you remember?
The night of our talk
Cause I’m really scared
You may have forgot
Remember the cuts
You saw on my arm
How did you feel?
When you saw I had self harmed
Did you forget that I cried?
I couldn’t control tears
But when you held me
I felt no more fears
Remember the words
That you told me that day
“Baby girl, don’t worry”
“Everything will be okay”
Remember that time
When you saw me cry

That one special time

Great poem. I love how you personalized it with a specific name.
You wanna know what i think so here it goes. Reading this brought me back to every single time i found out that another one of my friends cut themselves. Brought me back to the exact day and reminded me of that sinking feeling in my stomach everytime i saw a new cut. The feeling that made me want to run away and bury my face in a pillow. Any poem that can do that deserves praise. Amazing. And keep writing!
