He was a quiet 18 year old
A boy I thought I knew
He was a quiet soul,
too godd to go,
but still we said "Goodbye"

I never knew
he love Michelle
and continued to forever.

A quiet soul
I barely knew
is always on my mind.

His hair so long,
a voice so strong
has opened up my eyes.

God had a plan
for him and me.
It shifts it's own gears
and not always clear.

This quiet soul
I never knew
has showed me
how to love.

This quiet soul
I never knew
has showed me
how to care.

He taught me how
to look past face
and get to know
a person's base.

I learned of love
and shallowness
a sense of loss
and preciousness.

The greatest lesson
learned in life,
was taught to me
through him.

It doesn't matter
what you gain
all that matters
is the pain

in the legacy
you leave behind.

So sad and yet hopeful. Absolutely beautiful.
