What happens at night
A gasp escaped lips sealed tight,
The cut had been deep, feeling so right.
She leaned her head back, felt so mush
Rush out
She cried softly, felt her tears
Shout what she could not.
Her face was calm for only a time,
As her blood ran down, becoming her
Life line.
Her escape was of much to fast,
So she drew the blade and
Just like glass,
Her skin broke under the finely
Tuned edge, making her bleed twice
Twice as fast.
She let them go as long as they would last.
She cleaned the cuts,
Bound them tight.
No one would ever guess that
This was what she did at night.
