Hey, you think you got the rhymes?
Waitin' till the reviews begin to chime?
If you have confidence in yourself
with the flow, slow reserve like jazz clefs
then you got it, no worries.
Don't wait, move on, you got more stories,
more queries, and poetic fury.

That's why we poets exist,
All of us have more than one stitch,
it's a series of experiences of pain,
of jealously, of hate and love,
and of stains.
“it takes a crane to build a crane”,
so no worries, lick clean your ink stains.

And for those who like it easy,
This ain't Youtube, or your typical Stussy,
Until you carry your weight, you'll stay stereotypical crazy
crazy over-racy for 5-starred slates that ain’t marred,
you're just mashed gravy, callin for folks to "Pay me!"

So let's bring it back,
Cast off your money points, grasp with both hands
the true point, of worn nibs and Keats fans,
and continue ridin’ and fightin’
the waves of words and stored swords.

Like a final kiss, let’s keep it like it is,
Teen Ink’s a tidal haven for the lost soul’s peace.
