Against all odds

Have I found you my love, my dream, my heart.

You have been waiting, I know.

But look! Here I am, reaching for your creamy hand.

Your hand, so soft.

Against all odds, have I been attached again like glue to you, love.

Love, how I grieved through treacherous day and stormy night.

Love, how I shed tears for your soul.

Why have you left me?

Put me through the past?

Put me through…the present?

The future?

Have I really reached you, my love?

Or have I merely dreamed of you, yet again.

No, I can see your chest beat up and down,

Up and down

Up and

You must be here. You must, my love.

Or I must be there. There, with you, my love.

For my love has been a never endless night.

Whatever it is my dear, I have seen you again.

On this promised cloud we had thought of together, once before.

Before you had left me.

Before I had to look for you.

Before I had to take my chariot up to you.

Before I reached the sky.
