A Bad Boyfriend

I thought that I loved him.
But I guess not.
He's just a jerk,
who would've thought?

We were the subject of all gossip
except I didn't know-
What people around me were saying,
was not just a show.

The passion, the feelings,
where has it all gone?
maybe we were together a little too long.

Thinking of this made me all to mad,
That's when I decided to end what we had.

I thought he would be sad,
and beg me to stay.
But when I closed our relationship,
he just went on with his day.

He didn't care about me,
all he said were lies.
I'm happy I dumped him,
I didn't even cry.

All he wanted was my looks.
And the 'cool' of having a girlfriend.
Which is funny if you think about it,
because now he doesn't have it.
