Do you remember a song, little one?
A lullaby I would sing to you, all day long?
I play it on the piano, and feel the keys go, and watch your eyes slowly close.
I come over and stroke your head, and remember you as a child.
YOu were my best friend, and I loved you dearly till I had to leave you one day.
I hope you know that I had loved you, that I had cried for you. And when I got to see you again,I never forgot how excited I was.
And now when I am singing to you,
I cry and remember.
I hold you close and cherish the moment, and hope you remember, the past between you and me,
I want you to remember, to see,
how much you mean to me,
as I sing this song for you,
my dear loved one.

THis is about my dog that I had to give up for two years. My dad kept him from me, knowing that I would be thrilled to see him again.
