on the darkest of nights.

On the darkest of nights the shadows hide you fears
And when the waters come down.
The rain hides tears.
I walk beside you.
And though you may not see me
Because I cloche myself in darkness
But because of my light you always know I’m there.
You’ve herd of me before.
So often I sound cliché.
But you never believed; you walked away.
From the life I have planned for you!
You told me I didn’t exist.
Yet I catch you when you fall
I help you up when you crawl.
I help you see through the mist.
I told you before
I forgotten your lies. I see your eyes.
To the pain and the sorrow. To the sin that you hold.
I can carry your burden
I know your heart is cold.
I don’t care that you were abused, I don’t care that your weak
I don’t care about those horrid words that you speak.
I don’t care that you sin
That you lie and you steal
I don’t care that your so bad you can hardly feel.
I’ve forgotten all of that
And forgiven you sin.
All that I ask is we begin again.
But you wont turn away from the life that you have.
You run screaming
I yell take my hand!
But you wont listen and you never will.
Just because you think no one knows how you feel
But I wont stop
I will just keep knocking
Hoping one day you will see what I am offering.
I died for you.
I love you so.
I have faith in you.
I wont let you go
Because on the darkest of nights when the shadows hide your fears
And when the waters come down
And the rain hides your tears.
I walk beside you.

Hmm, that's some dedication... You did a great job. The verse was emotional and thought-provoking. Keep writing.
