Roses are just looks,
shimmering with beauty in every breath,
but as the days go by,
its beauty withers,
till it droops and dies.

The author's comments:
This is kind of like, "dont judge a book by its cover." That is what inspired me to write the poem. It shows how beautiful roses can be, but like everything else, its beauty fades.
