lust filled eyes
for he cannot touch
thus it is sinful
fear of loss, there is much
his saddened gaze
for there she lies
will he save her?
from the heavens, her goddess cries
the glint of light or death
thus th deed is quick
scarlet is the color of thy fate
betraying love and passion, a trick?
a desire to escape
the cruel bond not a second late
who to chose?
an opening of a new gate
