nightmares

you're a dream
and a nightmare
you were everything i wanted
yet you were never there
you were my everything,
my nothing
my rise,
and my fall
without you, i was nothing at all
for you, i felt both
love and hate,
but i loved too early
and hated too late
i don't know how to handle this
i don't know how to feel
this emotion that i have,
is far too real
it hit me like a bullet
right to the chest
it's breaking my heart open
and leaving nothing left
it's ripping through my body
leaving no part untouched
it shatters my heart
leaving me crushed
