There is a shadow behind tomorrow
Where the glory has passed away

And the mornings that hold no laughter
Grows the shadow in the shade

But beyond the pitched darkness
Lies hope for those afraid

Beyond the unending mornings
Lies the time happiness is made

And to wake to another tomorrow
And age another day

Proves the shadow will not grow stronger
The sadness can be kept at bay
