Concrete Angel
There’s a concrete angel
Lying dying along the road
Wings covered in stony feathers
Iced over in the lonely snow
Should my decision lift it up
Or leave it unattended
The burden it holds to carry home
Makes the choice undecided
So on along I go my way
Unyielding in my detached reason
For now to regard the concrete angel
For another walk, another season
