Today I shed my last tear,
Never again will I tell any man get to
Close to my heart.
I will no longer sit here and watch it fall apart.
Today fire is no longer my fear,
I’m letting go things that once hold me back.
No more well I freeze at the site of fire
Caused by some childish acts.
Today I’m letting go of the pain of feeling
Lonely,
The pain of always be let down and disappointments
By someone that always makes promises.
When they know there not to sure if they can keep them.
I lean on know one but myself,
Because today,
For once and for all
I am finally,
Letting go!

The author's comments:
I had made this poem because i had so many nights wishing i could for get about things that had happen in my life that i could never seem to let go.
So one night i've made a vow to mysef saying that i won't keep everything, all the emotions, unspoken words, and all the tears i hold deep inside my heart, i will let them all go.
And i made this poem to remind me of the vow i made, so i've decide to post it on teen ink.
Please tell me what you think?
