She needs a boy to complete her
As if alone she isn’t enough
The scars on her wrists tell a story
And scream that she needs love.
She spends her high school years alone
And her cuts yell and get deeper
Everyone turn their heads and ignore
While she wishes someone would keep her.
Keep your head up, little girl
The world is scary but has its perks
Just remember that I hear you
Stay around and make it work.
