People laugh, people stare
They call you names
They push you down
You question yourself
Are they right?
Should you listen to them?
Your parents tell you
You’re beautiful you’re smart
You don’t believe them
You get good grades
But you say
That doesn’t mean anything
You just want to be
Pretty, funny, popular
Or to just fit in with the crowd
Someone tells you popularity is not
Who your friends are its
How many friends you have
You say you don’t have friends
Your family dosen’t love you
So why should I live?
