Anything For You
She cares more than you'll ever know
Never wanted to let you go
She thinks it was all her fault
But she's not the reason that you never called
She knew from the start there was somebody else
But that couldn't change the way she felt
Countless nights she prayed he would change
A broken heart she got in exchange
She'll think of you
'Til the day she dies
She knows for a fact
It's killing her inside
She wonders where it all went wrong
When it turned to disarray
She gambled with her heart and lost
Now she has to pay
She can't take it anymore
It hurts too much to bear
She's broken to her very core
And knows he doesn't care
She pulls out her daddy's gun
Loaded, ready to go
She says goodbye to everyone
In her room, she dies alone
The funerals done, her parents come home
Mournful of their daughter's deeds
On her nightstand, they find a note
Her handwriting reads:
"Mom and Dad, I'm really sorry
That I left you here this way
It was just my time to go
I know you'll be okay
Tell my friends I won't be coming back
Tell my teachers I'll be gone
Make sure to feed my guinea pig
He'll wonder what is wrong
Tell my brother I'm in heaven now
In a place that knows no pain
Tell my sister that I'm sorry
But that I didn't die in vain
And lastly, tell my boyfriend
That I knew his secret all along
From now on he'll remember me
With every sad love song"

I want to comment that this is NOT autobiographical. I was trying to write a country song, and while it's based on emotions I've felt in the past, I'd never kill myself.
