without you

By , utica, NY
It hurts me inside and I realize I can’t have you, and I never will. We were close like skin on bones and you faded away like dust on the road. I want you and I need you without you I can’t be whole. You did for me what gospel does to the soul. Without you I can’t be whole. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I long to be complete. Love is like a disease and you would be the remedy. I miss your smile it brightened up my day but that day would soon end because you flew away.

This is beautiful. An excellent way to remember your parents, I'm sure they are reading this and smiling because they are proud of you, but they would also be telling you that you need to stay strong because they are always there, even when you can't see them.
