without you
It hurts me inside and I realize I can’t have you, and I never will. We were close like skin on bones and you faded away like dust on the road. I want you and I need you without you I can’t be whole. You did for me what gospel does to the soul. Without you I can’t be whole. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I long to be complete. Love is like a disease and you would be the remedy. I miss your smile it brightened up my day but that day would soon end because you flew away.
