Anticipation

This is an intense emotion found from deep within
Deep inside my heart where no one has ever been
This is an epic in my deepest despair
Eager to witness my fears disappear into thin air
Will my troubles all fade and end
Or will a bigger tragedy begin
Maybe if I close my eyes, it’ll all turn out to be a dream of day
All I can do is anticipate and pray that my past will soon wash away
