The pounding of the waves on the sea shore,
a calming noise.
Thepounding of your heart against your rib cage,
excitement.
Theharshness of the sand on your toes,
cool to the touch.
Theharshness of the truth you hear,
better understanding.
The burningof the sun on your gentle face,
comfort in the feel.
The burningfeeling in your heart, mind and soul,
gained wisdom, briefexhaustion.
The thrusting surf on your fragile body,
exhilaratingrelief.
The thrusting thoughts running through your mind,
theconfusion of experience.
The soothing feeling of the water on yourskin,
refreshment.
The soothing voice that makes everythingright,
contentment.
