I began the journey
At what I call my "birth"
This is theexact time
That I left this Earth.
This is my voyage
As viewedby me ...

Struggling to fly,
Gaining velocity.
From here Ican see.
An entire city.
Where to from here?
I am up so high...

Up with the birds,
Not quite in space.
I am sure youcan see
The anxiety in my face
It is so tranquil up here.
Not asound to be heard ...

Finally in space
I currentlyreside.
I feel so safe
Tightly locked inside
Of this isolatedship
Too much time to spare ...

The stars fly past
Likepeople did down there
Too many fly by,
I can't allow myself tocare.
So onward I trudge.
Into the open and vast ...

Whatif I find nothing?
This will be just a waste.
But at least I canhide
Deep within outer space.
Far away from the hassle
Ofliving with them ...

Perhaps I am plagued
with a wanderingmind
Maybe I should fall asleep.
And see what I can find.
Aslong as the ship is headed
Far away from Earth ...
