Two Haunting Jails
All humanity that was left
slips through my fingers
Two haunting jails, neither appealing
This life is like the merry-go-round
I left behind
Slow, then fast forever
But they always stop
The only difference.
What fate is this?
Has the world gone
completely mad?
I feel as if I am the only one left to know
This is not how it should be
For if feels like never again the
breeze will float
the sun shine
the faces smile
Two haunting jails, neither appealing
All humanity that was left
slips through my fingers
