America - 11pm MAG

By Unknown, Unknown, Unknown

Doze on deepened damper nights
Sparrow spare the musicalbytes
Thrashing, eyelids open-shut
leave this blanded, bloatedrut

Tempers treated well with age
Meager minds reverse apage
Cement corners thick with grit
Grinding gums through horse'sbit

Heart keeps beating through the ear
But game and girthwould rather hear
Plastic pillow crushed beside
Turn a table, losesome pride

Darkened din through city brain
Scratchy bed ofdirty grain
Raise those eyes when life runs thin
Try and keep somewater in
