Life is a Comedian
It’s funny that
 The three words you fear
 Are the very words
 I long to hear
 From the very lips
 That Gods infinite grace
 Planted on your caramel face

 It’s funny that
To me your happiness is worth
Helping you on your epic search
 Half across the Universe
To find the girl that isn’t me
 You’ll spend your whole eternity
 Loving her but never me

 It’s funny that
 We’re so much alike
You’d think we had telepathic powers
But I lay here on my bed wondering
What you’re thinking of for hours
Hoping that I’m on your mind
As much as you, yourself are on mine
 Which of course
 Is all the time

 It’s funny that
 The line between
What friendship is and what love means
Is small enough to make me scream
 So small it’s virtually unseen
So of course I’ll never know
Unless you want it to be shown
For friendships come and friendships go
But love, for me is evergreen
 But what do I know?
 I’m only fifteen
