Ripe for the Asking MAG

By Anonymous

I was standing on the corner of Indecision and Abnormal yesterday,
waitingtentatively for the light to change,
when a stranger came up to me andasked,
in the most polite voice,
"Please, may I put your heart in ablender?"
How could I refuse?
After all, he was grammatically correct...
He did say "please"
After a small, dramatic pause, I quietlyand calmly handed it over
The man smiled, said "grazie," and walkedaway holding my heart-shaped heart
[LIGHT CHANGES]
Somewhere on Illusion, Ifelt a small longing for my missing organ
I salvaged a coin from theroad
Turned it in the light
Stamped, in small print, were the words ..."profound insight"
The longing quickly passed.

"What is a poet? An unhappy person who conceals profound anguish in his heart but whose lips are so formed that as sighs and cries pass over them they sound like beautiful music". Soren Kierkegaard

This was incredible... it felt so effortless, not forced at all. awsome work
