A goodbye or hello?

The end it came
Salty tears
Warm hugs
All rolled in one package

Down came the rain
To wash away the tears
Along with the memories
We shared

Yet its not goodbye
The future ahead
Unpredictable and winding
Where one day

Paths may cross
Greeting each other
And never a farewell

The author's comments:
This poem is based on a true story where I had to say goodbye to my second family. Yet I know I am going to see them in the near future. Its never goodbye always a see you later.
