Secret Love Uncovered

July 31, 2009
I want him
She has him
He's my friend
She can't comprehend

We talk, we flirt
Treat each other like dirt
But in a loving way because
That's what it is, it's love

Do we hang out?
Well it's not allowed
On her terms
Because he is hers

We make secret plans
So we have a chance
I see he wants me too
He admits it's true

What are we to do?

This love is a secret love
She finds out, we're done.
We can't run away
We're just simply underage

She has finally discovered
Our secret love-uncovered
He lies his way out
Now I'm stuck in the doghouse

We speak no more words
For it only makes things worse
Now I'm left without my friend
I never thought we'd see this end

Hey thanks for commenting on my work. I like yours too, though I can't relate. I've never been in love with my best friend. :) Keep writing!
