Beautifully Broken
A mirror shattered,
Laying in pieces across the floor,
Reflecting fragments of who you once were,
And shimmers of light off its scattered, sharp triangles.

Beautifully Broken
A ceiling with
Cracks lacing across it,
Intricacies obvious and mysterious,
Simultaneously.

Beautifully Broken
An old door
Falling off its hinges
Hard to open, to see through,
Rusting at the edges, creaking to be heard.

Beautifully Broken
The abandoned clock
No longer ticks or keeps time,
But still sits lonely in the corner,
Silently watching, observing.

I am beautifully
Shattered,
Scattered,
Fallen,
Fragmented,
Sharp,
Silently,
Broken.
