Tears
“Tears”
The sun goes down
And it starts to rain
The rain against the window
Reminds me of my pain
The tears I cry at night
Because I’m without you
And it doesn’t help
That I don’t know what to do
The tears I cry are not for my self
They are for what could have been
I would send my love to you
But it would scatter in the wind
Life’s true meaning still seems to elude me
It taunts me
It haunts me
I just wish I could see
I don’t want there to be a final goodbye
But no one will play the alibi
All I have are memories
But all they create is agony
One day I hope you’ll set me free
Be by my side
Eternally
