Waiting on a train
With comfort lacking everywhere
But I can feel his eyes burning into me
That chill runs down my spine
Its all too familiar

It’s that air around you
That coldness I craved
I need it more, I want it more, it is all I know
And its all too familiar

But he is not aware
And im too aware
As I sink deeper

As I’m frozen in time
Your words, they fade with mine
And its all too familiar

The smell of smoke seeps into me
Your breathing gets heavier
You hold the cigarette between those lips
Those lips that tightly hold the secrets, you’re soon to tell

They always say be careful when you cross alone
But they don’t prepare you for this
The only way to run is to wake up from this nightmare
But temptation is the kill
