Life is different then we know

Everyday life passes
and every moment i wish to cry
knowing nothing will be as it was
knowing nothing will be my own
the day drags on
the nights are cold
my heart is full
my brain is empty
and life continues to amaze me
life is short
and yet the moments last forever
every breath is different
every heart beat is different
but every day is the same
this is why time passes
