Different
this is different
i always write
the lies that i thought i felt
and why?
why did i even think that i could try?
Try to pretend that i was someone i'm not
tried to outwit my enemies by being my own enemy
But that's not me
I'm allowed to be happy
i don't have to be dark
my soul isn't broken
my heart hasn't fallen apart
Today is the day my life will change
today is the day i will start to feel sane.
So honestly here goes nothing
this is all i had to say
because today's a band new day.
