An ignorant public

There's the medals,
The glory,
The good old grime and grit-
Not to mention
Chaos,
Destruction,
Propaganda bull.
Join the party,
We'll show you fireworks you've never seen,
Shiva the Destroyer in full glamor and gleam.
Silver medals,
Purple hearts,
Shell shock -
It's on me.
Come on and join old Uncle Sam
And be all that you can be.
