Thanks to that technology boom

‘Cause obesity’s climbing
While that microwave keeps sighing
And McDonald’s sings I’m Loving It
While you sit there and shove-it-in
Too bad you can’t get up off the floor
As the T.V. tells you to keep buying more
And the FDA tells you the “Smart Choices Made Easy”
(Personally, that makes me queasy
Because they’re not actually that healthy)
And it becomes only the wealthy
Who can become skinny and beautiful
In the way the media tells you to
Because they can afford organic –
And afford the dermatology clinic
(Botox really does work,
I should know, my AUNT can no longer smirk
So I guess it also worked for me
She’s scared of the wrinkles from getting angry
Sort of)
So we all scream Yes We Can
As long as we get that new medical plan
Awesome, now my taxes pay
