Too Lonely
I sit up in my room, struggle to think of a rhyme,
To describe how your eyes, figure, and personality shine,
Above other girls, I say they’re indescribably well,
Thoughts of you loud like the Bellagio bell,
Attractive eyes glisten, like diamonds fresh mined,
Beautiful body is the only perfection alive,
But your mind is undoubtedly better than mine,
Genius and kindness is all I see in your eyes,
I’m…
Too lonely
Smile when I think of your smile
Too lonely
And I say nothing all the while
Too lonely
Dreams of us holding hands
Too lonely
Feelings snap and release like rubber bands
Can’t think of a way to say,
Hey, you look really good today,
But I’m stressed, I argue what you think in my mind,
Knowing in my heart that you’re one of a kind,
But when is the right time?
Would you just give me no mind?
Would it be based on my design?
Or maybe you and someone else are partners in crime,
Oh there’s a heads up dime, now it’s mine,
I hope the stars will align,
Because after today, you’re gonna be mine,
I’m just…
Too lonely
Feel the words I write with this pen
Too lonely
Soon I’m gonna see you again
Too lonely
No more sitting without a grin
Too lonely
Sit next to you instead of remembering when
Today I saw you with another man
Laughing and talking longer, my thoughts they just ran,
Chance long gone, not, no, or maybe ever,
These are just some thoughts that I’ve got to weather,
But I can’t stop going, I’ve got to move on,
Just five short months before you’re gone,
And then I’ll probably never see you again,
So I hope you do well in any job that you’re in,
This is a rhyme for any girl that I meet,
Giving me the courage just to walk up and greet,
This is a rhyme for any lonely guys,
Who wait for that day of confidence to arrive,
This a rhyme for lonely women who wait,
For a dream guy to ask them out on a date,
So I’ll sign my name at the bottom and say goodbye,
Sincerely yours, I hope no one ever makes you cry,
No lie
Too lonely
Smile when I think of your smile
Too lonely
And I say nothing all the while
Too lonely
Dreams of us holding hands
Too lonely
Feelings snap and release like rubber bands
