Mommy Won't Even Look At Me
No hugs, no kisses, and no smiles
Mommy won't even look at me
Valedictorian, accepted into the most prestigious college
Mommy won't even look at me
I ask where daddy is and she just stares
This is the first time I see her beautiful glare
Then she begins to throw things and scream
And I say "mom what's wrong why are you being so mean"
No answer, and no more yelling just her walking away
Mommy won't even look at me
I walk into her room and say "mom I love you"
She just looks away, but not before I see her face full of disgust and disgrace
I go to my room and lie awake, but before I close my eyes and go to sleep
My mom walks in and says to me "I can't say I love you"
And I say "why"
Before she answers she starts to cry
So I give her a hug and say It'll be ok
And she says son I can't love you because you're a product of rape
