Your arms wrap around me.
Keeping me close to your heart.
And I begin go remember.
You've loved me from the start.

A tear glides down my cheek.
Landing upon your arm.
I cry because I realize.
You wouldn't do me any harm.

Yet I am still this sinful soul.
The one who has hurt you many times.
But my only worry seems to be.
Hoping this poem rhymes.

Yeah, I know I've made mistakes.
Ones I cannot reverse.
Unlike the actors in a play.
I'm unable to rehearse.

I know one thing I don't regret.
Is simply finding you.
But eveytime I think about us.
My feelings turn so blue.

I need to get a grip.
On this journey they call life.
In hopes that one day.
I can call myself your wife.

But until then I must say good-bye.
So I wont hurt you anymore.
I don't want you to be confused.
Trapt inside and sore.

But why is it?
That when I walk away.
You always come marching back.
Day after day.

Is it because you love me?
Maybe because you care.
You don't want to be left alone.
You simply couldn't bare.

I broke down with tears.
Knowing I need you too.
I promise to never hurt you.
From now on my feelings are true.

I need you now more than ever.
And I'm not going to let you go.
I love you to the moon and back.
This I hope you know.

Your arms wrap around me.
Keeping me close to your heart.
And I begin to remember.
You've loved me from the start
