A Delicate Rose

She was planted in a garden that arises calamity

Where eradicating its flowers serves as its epitome

Her beauty is captured even before her bloom

She lessens the cruelty that craves to gain its doom

The delicate flower is amongst those of a reputed nature

Differing from those being derived by a greedy gesture

She contrasts the obvious, continuing to assemble her soil to blossom

Sustaining her broken fragments by resisting words of loathsome

To extend her stem she prepares for the sadness of rain

For rain foreshadows the scenes of pain she continues not to claim

Realizing the touch of rain would help her grow to triumphant levels

Still affirming love for those who would endure the falling of her petals

Her sight became adapted to grievous neighbors residing only in greed

Who failed to distinguish between a want and a need

Her prickling thorns would convey her fragility of sight

She would mature from water and mature from sunlight

Her maturity will mirror her prudence and display her beauty

Her elegance is resisted by no one, all praises her purity

Growing past the roots of turmoil where the greenery is bestowed

She ascends from the ground into a red delicate rose.

This poem symbolizes the beauty of my mother. My mother is a incredibly beautiful woman, she charms every person she meets. She is symbolized as a rose because a rose is indeed her favorite flower. And I believe my mother is the most beautiful woman in the world.
