I stand still for a moment and think...
...about you
...about me
...about parents
...about animals
...about music
...about nature
...about depression
...about suicide
...about blood
...about razors
...about dying
...about colors
...about "extended family"
...about a black president
...about alcohol
...about drugs
...about sex
...about prejudicism
...about a lost childhood
...about politics
...about school
...about him
...about friends
...about war
...about killings
...about racism
...about theft
...about stereotypes
...about gays/lesbians
...about straights
...about bi-sexual
...about life.

Then I shrug, and start walking.
So now I am thinking "Believing no matter who it is, or what it is no one will take the stand and change things in this world for the better or for the worse."

The author's comments:
I wrote this January 8th in my bedroom, mad at the world. I really thought this poem meant something when i re-read it back to me. To me it means that no matter how much we complain about things, judge things in life, no one will take a stand to do something about it, and if they do they don't stand long enough for most people to hear about it
