Why must math be so boring?
Everyone wants to know!
The numbers and formulas are so frustrating…
Erg! My brain is hurting.

I don’t see why math is supposed to help in everyday in life,
Other than buying stuff and paying taxes,
But hey, we’re just kids!
I guess math is used in some jobs
But hopefully not mine.

From taking notes to figuring out what Pi is,
Everything in between just sounds like a lullaby to me.
As the teacher speaks, I become drowsy…
Its like math is designed to put you to sleep!

I mean, at least make math fun;
Let’s get money for getting homework questions right
And prizes for acing quizzes and tests.
Maybe that’s overdoing it,
But hey, I’m in math class right now,
I’ve got the whole time to think!
