Noticed him for 3 years
Acknowledged him for 2 and a half
Smiled at him for 2
Smiled into him for 1
I’ve liked him at least two thirds
Of that number 3
And I’ve admitted it to myself
In my head
For about 6 months
And I’ve admitted it out loud
6 times
In the past 7 days
And I’ve whispered it
Onto his lips
For 10 sweet seconds
2 nights and 2 days ago
Once
And for all.
