A little foolishness, now and then, is relished by the wisest men. -willy wonka and the great glass elevator.

Stick this needle through my heart
Take it out, watch me fall apart.
Pain that holds the pieces in.
My dismay never to feel love again.

When I die oh the freedom I will have
Not to sing this morbid drag
Not to strike this deathly tone
Of my life story in this heart I have sewn

Next morn I wake I shall despise
For one more day have seen my eyes
One more day of love’s demise
Pain won the victory, my soul the prize.

Shall I see love ere again
I shall fain the day and be at rest
Should I see my love once more
I shall stick this needle into their chest!

Screaming I shall kill love once again
This pain is horrid, this I have said,
But one thing I did fail to say
Is this pain as it brought death, brought life to my day.

Love may be an illusion,
But you always know pain is real.
When love is false
truest pain you will certainly feel.

Is your love a lie,
So you must choose for yourself,
or is it possibly pain in disguise?
